Description
King Alexander II for Patrick, [earl] of Dunbar, his nepos; in exchange for land of Traquair, which he had bestowed upon Patrick [has given] for his homage and service, king's former forest lands of Dundaff (STL) and Strathcarron (STL), for third part of one knight's service. He has also granted also that Patrick may hold lands in free forest; and no one is to disturb unjustly him or his heirs or assigns, or their land and liberties, on pain of king's full forfeiture of £10.
