Description
King Alexander II for his burgesses of Ayr; has handed over at feu-ferme five pennylands in Kyle, that is, Alloway, Corton and Carcluie, for £10 annual rent and forinsec service due from them. The burgesses are not to burn, give away, sell or in anyway destroy green wood in these lands, but shall take only what they need for constructing their own buildings and ships at Ayr.
