Description
Abbot William and convent of Arbroath for Walter Melville, burgess of Aberdeen; have given full toft which they have in burgh of Aberdeen, that is, two perches towards castle and two perches that they have in same burgh, namely in street on east side of church of St Nicholas, held in free burgage just as King William of good memory assigned, providing when they shall come there hospitality, fire and tallow candles, salt and straw for beds.
