Description
Abbot William (sic for Walter) and convent of Arbroath for Inchaffray Abbey; with consent of chapter, have given all lands, houses, and possessions which William, son of Reingod, held of monastery of Arbroath in town of Arbroath, and which he quitclaimed for himself and his heirs, in full court of Arbroath. Inchaffray is to hold lands in free burgage, with its easements, saving only that lands not be sold or alienated without special licence of Arbroath Abbey
