- Description
- Abbot Simon and convent of Dunfermline for Richard Cook, their servant; have given, for homage and service, half of Pitbauchlie (FIF) which his late father had held, that is, northern part which lies along 'Pothyn', rendering annually one pair of white spurs at Translation of Blessed Queen Margaret and making forinsec service. The abbey also gives to Richard that piece of land under lesser villa called 'meadow' lying in length over burn that comes from Garvock (FIF) and flows under the lesser villa of Dunfermline, which land Simon the cook first held and afterwards Alan, who was the steward. Richard shall render annually to abbey one pound of cumin at the feast of Blessed Queen Margaret
