Description
Abbot Simon and convent of Dunfermline for Sir Thomas de Betheref, knight; with consent of chapter, have given, for homage and service, all land of Bendochy (PER), saving to monastery what belongs to crown of king, and forfeiture and pleas that go beyond cattle and sheep. If it happens that land of Bendochy is augmented by small portion of surrounding lands, Thomas shall have that portion of land at feuferme, as long as it can be valued by estimate of honest men
