Description
Prior John and convent of St Andrews for Sir Peter de Campania, clerk; by consent of chapter, have given for his service, all barony of Kirkness (KNR) with mills, greater and lesser teinds, eel traps and fishing, cain of Markinch (FIF), Auchmuty (FIF), Auchterderran (FIF), Balchristie (FIF), Bogie (FIF), Auchmuir (FIF), with teinds of villa of Admore as much as pertains to priory of island of Loch Leven and with all other appendices excepting death dues, oblations, spousal dues, baptismal dues. The priory has extended teinds of cain of barony with its pertinents to Sir Peter for 53 marks below the sum of £100 which St Andrews owes to him from his annual pension, from ordination of Sir William Fraser, bishop of St Andrews. The land is to be held by Sir Peter for his whole life and for one year after day of his death. Prior John and convent of St Andrews warrant, discharge and defend all above against all persons.
