Description
Henry, prior of St Andrews, has granted that master and brothers of hospital next to bridge of Loch Leven are free and exempt from payment of teinds that they rightly produce from their garden, meadowland and food for their animals that graze in parish of Portmoak (KNR) and rest at night below below fences of hospital and of all small teinds, saving - according to everything of church of Portmoak - teinds of grain and all teinds and personal payments of labour service of same house, and of men remaining in land of hospital itself, and all other rightful liberties of parish pertaining to church. And if it shall happen that master and brothers obtain, accept at feuferme or acquire by any other means more land in parish, they will pay full teinds
