Description
Ralph, abbot and convent of Arbroath Abbey, make known that they have land of Drumsleed (KCD) from bishop of Brechin in perpetual ferme, and were held to chapter of Brechin for a payment of 50 marks annually in perpetuity, which has been assigned to bishop and chapter of Brechin for support of one chaplain at same church and 20s. for support of bridge. They will that Richard son of Thomas to whom they grant 'Balysaac' (Boysack, ANG) for 6 marks at perpetual ferme, who will also respond for those 6 marks annually to personae of place, as a half mark left over from annual rents of their church of Guthrie (ANG).
