Prior John and convent of St Andrews inspect confirmation by David, bishop of St Andrews (Dryb. Lib., no. 38; H2/10/213), to Dryburgh Abbey granting that for each of churches which canons of Dryburgh occupy in his diocese and which were granted for their own uses by his predecessors which he established to them by episcopal authority, they may present one of their canons as vicar who will answer for cure of souls.
