Description
Abbot Osbert and convent of Kelso make known that since case called between them and prior and canons of Lanercost over church of Lazonby (Cumbria) was concluded by abbot of Newminster and priors of Tynemouth and 'Insula' (Lindesfarne), by authority of pope, Kelso Abbey, by assent of chapter, grant and relax entirely right they believed they had in said church. The canons of Lanercost shall pay a yearly payment of 2 gold bezants at feast of St James at fair of Roxburgh.
