- Description
- King Henry to announces that abbey of Holy Trinity of Dunfermline and Archibald the abbot, the monks and their possessions are in his custody and protection. He commands that these are to be guarded, maintained and protected as his own, and that no injury, indignity or violence is to be inflicted upon them, in Musselburgh, or in the port, or elsewhere. No vexation or disturbance is to be offered to the merchants wishing to put in peacefully at abbey's port of Musselburgh (MLO).
