Description
Duncan, earl of Fife, has given, granted and by his present charter established to Sir Nicholas de Haya for his homage and service Inchyra (PER) and ‘Cascarthylk’, which David of Inchyra surrendered to Hugh of Lochore, the earl’s special attorney, constituted by letters of the lord king, in his (the earl’s) court at Kinnoull (PER) with baillies of the lord king and many other responsible men by staff and baton, by its right bounds, in feu and heritage, free from all service and custom, making common army service of the lord king and common works for the king pertaining to 1 ½ ploughgates of land, for an annual render of one pound of pepper.
