Description
M[alcolm], earl of Fife, notes that when the canons of Scone Abbey have shown him the charter and confirmation of the Lord King Alexander which they have over the fourth part of his fishery of ‘Stan Inche’ (?PER), which are to be kept until they obtain the church of Redgorton (PER), as fully contained in the said charter, then he will return to them the charter which he has from them in which it is acknowledged that upon possession of the said church, the fishery will revert to himself and his heirs. He promises to do this faithfully under penalty of 100 marks.
