Description
William son of Patrick has granted, and established by his charter, to Kelso Abbey the church of Greenlaw (BWK) with a half ploughgate of land which it first had, and another half ploughgate of land which Adam gave by the bounds by which Adam perambulated it, with the tofts and crofts pertaining to the land, in free and perpetual alms, with chapels and the lands pertaining to the chapels. Moreover, he has given and granted to them a certain house with the adjacent land of the same house, which is next to the house of Hyim on the east, as the ditch lies which he assigned to them.
