Description
Duncan son of Gilbert son of Fergus, earl of Carrick, for Melrose Abbey; he has granted, and given, and by this his charter established, the whole donation which he and Roger of Skelbrooke, his knight, granted and gave, namely the whole land of ‘Drumentheisuiene’, ‘Alebro’, and ‘Althefur’ (AYR), by the same bounds as in Roger’s charter, with all easements of that land, save the service of the king from the earl and Roger.
