Description
Patrick, earl of Dunbar, out of divine piety and for the love and reverence of the glorious confessor Cuthbert, has granted, and established by this present charter, that resignation and quitclaim of the villa of Swinwood (BWK) which Sir Patrick his son made to Blessed Mary and St Cuthbert and St Aebbe and the monks of Durham at Coldingham (i.e., Coldingham Priory), and granted, as contained in his charter.
