Description
William Comyn, earl of Buchan, notifies his friends and men that he has given and granted and by his present charter established to Adam son of Gilbert with Ydonia his sister in free marriage, Blyth (PEB), Ingraston (PEB) and ‘le Halch’ (?PEB), by stated bounds, holding for him and his heirs of Ydonia free from all service pertaining to the earl, making forinsec service pertaining to four ploughgates of land. He has also granted to Adam that his stud (horse) may have common pasture with the earl’s stud and that the men of Sir Adam of Blyth and the ‘Halch’ will have common pasture between West Linton and Blyth with the earl’s men of West Linton.
