Description
William Comyn, earl of Buchan, has granted and by his charter established to Dryburgh Abbey, by the divine charity, consent and assent of his wife Margaret, countess of Buchan, the donation that was made by Countess Ada, of pious memory, to the canons of the church of Kilrenny (FIF), for the souls of his lord King William, Countess Ada his mother, and for the welfare of the souls of his wife and himself and their children, and for the souls of all his ancestors and successors, in free, pure and perpetual alms, as fully contained in the charter of the countess [Ada], and as the charter of King William to the canons establishes and bears witness.
