Description
Gilbert of Glencarnie (III) has given, granted, and established by his charter, to Duncan of Frendraught (ABD) in free marriage with his daughter Marjorie, the eastern davoch of the land of ‘Conynges’ (lost, in Abernethy ph., INV), by its right bounds, in the holding of Abernethy (INV), with the homage and service of the tenants of his davoch of ‘Westir Coninges’ (INV?), and with all right and lordship for Gilbert and his heirs in case of competitors (?), that is, the davoch that Cecilia daughter of the late Sir William Ruffus, knight, holds of him, in feu and heritage, for homage and service.
