Description
Alan son of Roland, constable of Scotland, has given, granted, and established by his present charter, to Alan de Ros, for his homage and service, all of the land of Fairlie (AYR), by stated bounds, in feu and heritage, as freely as anyone holds and possesses by habergeon service, in pannages and assarts, in banks and fisheries and in all easements and liberties pertaining to the aforesaid land, saving to Alan stags and hinds, for provision of one young man with a habergeon, in the expeditionary army, and a render in aids as pertains to one ploughgate of land.
