Description
Alan son of Roland, constable of Scotland, has granted, given, and established by this his present charter, to Kilwinning Abbey and to Dryburgh Abbey all that portion which Master Andrew of Moray held in the parish of the church of Lauder (BWK), namely, the teinds of Trabrown, of Pilmuir, of the land of Walter the doorward, of the land of Martin, namely Whitlaw, of Glengelt and the land of Uhtred of Glengelt, and ‘Hailisespeth’ (Allanbank) and the land of Samson, namely Todlaw, of Addinston and Whalp Law and Lylestone and of Burncastle, and if any new lands emerge within these bounds, for the good of peace.
