Description
Malcolm, son of the earl of Lennox, has given, granted, and established by his charter, to Maelmuire son of ‘Nielgus’ 2 farthing-lands (quadrantes) of ‘Finphort’ and 1 farthing-land of Mamore (DNB) and 1 farthing-land of Mambeg (DNB), by the same bounds by which Maelmuire formerly held the lands of John the parson, and afterwards of Sir Maldoven, earl of Lennox, for an annual render of 2 marks, one at the Glasgow fair, the other at Martinmas, for all custom, exaction and demand, performing to the earl of Lennox the forinsec service of the king pertaining to the third part of one arachor in Lennox.
