Description
Malise, earl of Strathearn, has given, granted, and established by his charter to Inchaffray Abbey, the advowson of the church of Cortachy (ANG) in the diocese of Brechin, in perpetuity, for the support of the canons. He wills and by this writing grants as the abbot and convent may have and possess the said church in pure and perpetual alms. He obligates himself and his heirs by Matilda, daughter of Gilbert, late earl of Caithness and Orkney, to warrant the donation.
