Description
Malise, earl of Strathearn, has given, granted, and quitclaimed by his charter in perpetuity to Inchaffray Abbey, in pure and perpetual alms, John called ‘Starnes’, son of Thomas, son of Thor, with all his offspring. He grants for himself and his heirs in perpetuity to the abbot and convent all right and claim that he had to the same John and his offspring, and forbids any of his men from harassing John or his children.
