Description
Malise, earl of Strathearn, has given, granted, and established by his charter, to William of Moray his whole lands of ‘Dundovan’ (now Downhill, KNR) and ‘Pethuer’ (now Solsgirth, KNR), by their right bounds, with their just pertinents, for his homage and service, in feu and heritage, for an annual payment of four marks at the two terminals of Pentecost and Martinmas, for all secular exaction, saving the forinsec service of the lord king.
