Description
Pope Innocent [III] commands all archbishops, bishops, abbots, priors, deans, archdeacons, and other ecclesiastical dignitaries that, since the brethren of the Hospital of Jerusalem in particular have sustained injuries and robbery in many places, those who irreverently assault or unjustly detain the brethren or their property be subject to excommunication or anathema.
