Description
Pope Alexander III commands the abbots, priors, and others who have the right of presentation of churches in the diocese in Glasgow, that suitable persons be presented to the bishop so that they may receive from him the care of souls, and that the taxes due from those churches be fixed at reasonable levels. Otherwise the pontiff will be pleased if the bishop decides that the addressees should be compelled, by pontifical authority, to do what has been prescribed.
