Pope Alexander III has established to Brother Ingram, bishop of Glasgow, the teinds of cain from Carrick (AYR), Kyle (AYR), Cunningham (AYR), Strathgryfe (RNF) and Largs (AYR); the eighth penny in gold and silver, and in animals from the pleas of the king made in the diocese; the chapel of Roxburgh Castle, and the churches of ‘Chermicdh’ (?Carmichael, LAN) and Carnwath (LAN).
