Description
Pope Innocent III indulges to the abbot and convent of Dunfermline that in the parishes of the churches which they have, it is permitted to elect priests and present them to the diocesan bishop. If they shall be suitable, the bishop shall commit the cure of souls to them and they shall answer to him for spiritual dues and to the monastery for temporalities.
