Pope Innocent III commands the bishops of Dunkeld and Brechin, and the abbot of Kelso to examine the election of Adam, bishop-elect of Aberdeen, and to confirm it if they find that they did not get ordained subdeacon in order to be made bishop, and that there is no other canonical hindrance.
