Description
Malcolm, earl of Lennox, has given, granted, and established by this his present charter, to Arthur Galbraith and his heirs or assignees, for his homage and service, that quarterland of ‘Buchmonyn’ which is nearest to the land of ‘Blarnefode’, and that half-quarterland of ‘Gilgirinane’ which is nearest to the land of ‘Cartonwene’ (in Gartconnell) and ‘Tyrwaldouny’, with its right bounds, performing the forinsec service of the lord king, which belongs to one quarterland in the earldom of Lennox in Scottish service, for all secular services, customs, exactions and demands.
