Description
Pope Innocent IV writes to the abbot of the monastery of Dunfermline in Scotland, his chaplain, noting that H., cardinal-priest of St Sabine, commissioned by the pope to examine the inquisitions concerning the life and miracles of Margaret, queen of Scotland, of blessed memory, hereafter, concerning the same business, may write to the bishop of St Andrews; the pope, lest what the cardinal writes be doubted by any others, has declared that those letters of testimonies be granted to the abbot.
