Description
Pope Innocent IV, noting that the abbot and convent had petitioned him to remedy the injury done to the monastery from the fact that they had granted certain possessions to certain clerics and laymen, some for life and others in perpetuity, for a yearly payment, commands the bishop of Brechin to recover for the monastery of Inchaffray what had been alienated, compelling those opposed by ecclesiastical censure.
