Description
Pope Innocent IV establishes to the abbot and convent of Holyrood, noting the dispute between them and the vicars of certain of their churches in the St Andrews diocese concerning the assessment of the payments of those churches, which the bishop of St Andrews, with the consent of his chapter, made right and he assigned to the vicars of those the profits for their salaries, beyond which nothing should be seized by the vicars or be lessened by the patrons, the pope thus establishes what the bishop has done.
