Description
Pope Innocent [IV] commands all archbishops, bishops, and archdeacons that, since the brethren of the Hospital of Jerusalem should have no bishop or prelate besides the Roman pontiff, no one should be allowed to trouble them or exercise jurisdiction over them, on pain of excommunication or sentence of interdict.
