Pope Innocent IV indulges to Master Abel, clerk of the king of Scotland, canon of Glasgow, at whose instance he has been already dispensed, to hold one benefice with cure of souls besides the church of Smailholm (ROX), which he has on presentation of the patron to the bishop of St Andrews, and other benefices which he already has.
