Description
Pope Innocent IV commands the abbots of the order of St Benedict in Scotland, on petition of the abbot and convent of Iona, in the diocese of Sodor, in the realm of Norway, not to compel them to come to their general chapter, on the plea that they have possessions in Scotland. If not, the abbot of Rushen and the archdeacon of Man, of the diocese of Sodor, are ordered to make them cease from molesting the said abbot and convent.
