Description
Pope Alexander IV commands the bishop of St Andrews and the abbot of Jedburgh, in the diocese of Glasgow, on petition of the abbot and convent of Dryburgh, to collect all the revenues of the said monastery, and reserving a portion for the abbot and some of the convent, and, sending the rest of the canons to other houses of the order, to apply the remainder to the payment of their debts incurred by John, a former abbot.
