Description
Pope Gregory X commands the bishops of Moray, Aberdeen, and Argyll, to inquire into the life and general fitness of Master William, papal chaplain, archdeacon of St Andrews, who has been elected by the prior and chapter to that see, void by the death of Gamelin, bishop of the same church, and if they find him fit, to establish the election and consecrate him, receiving his oath of fealty to the pope.
