Description
Pope Clement IV [has established the churches of Newton-on-Ayr (AYR) and Auchinleck (AYR) to the abbot and convent of Paisley, which William, bishop of Glasgow, granted to them for their own uses, with the consent of his chapter, in which churches the abbot and convent have the right of patronage; and that they make suitable ministers, without presentation of vicars, serve those churches], and he further indulges, as above, that they may serve those churches with chaplains.
