Description
Pope Alexander IV grants a licence to the abbot and convent Arbroath, to take possession of and hold to their uses the church of Haltwhistle, in the diocese of Durham, in Tynedale, which is the land of the king of Scotland, of their patronage, on the death or resignation of the rector, a perpetual vicar with a fit portion being appointed to serve it.
