Description
Pope Innocent III writes to the bishop of St Andrews, H[enry], abbot of Arbroath, Thomas, prior of St Andrews, Ranulf, archdeacon of St Andrews, and Master [Laurence], official of St Andrews replying to four questions that had been raised, and ordering them to examine more fully, and decide, within two months, the cause between the abbot and canons of Cambuskenneth, and the abbot and monks of Dunfermline, touching certain teinds belonging to their church of St Ninians (STL), begun before the bishop of Dunblane and the abbot of Coupar and Scone, and the cause touching the chapel of Dunipace, and its tithes, delegated by the pope to the prior of Holyrood, the dean of Tyninghame and the official of St Andrews.
