Description
Pope Clement III has established the grange of Preston (ELO) which Abbot Henry [sic Hugh] and the convent of Newbattle have obtained from the gift of Robert de Quincy and Saher, his son, also the land at Clerker which Roger of Valognes conferred and the marsh at the grange of Bearford (ELO) which Thomas of Moray conferred on their monastery, with the mill built by Thomas on the land.
