Description
Osbert, abbot of Kelso makes known that, for the land [fundo] in Roxburgh which Robert, chaplain, held in feu and heritage and in free burgage from the canons of Brinkburn, which the said canons granted to Kelso to hold from him, he will give 22d. yearly, that is 10d. to the canons of Brinkburn at the feast of St James, and 12d. to Gilbert Fraser and his heirs, that is 6d. at Easter and 6d. at the feast of St Michael.
