Description
Richard de Umfraville writes to his sergeants and guardians of all his studs, commanding and instructing them to give and hand over to the monks of Kelso, whether by their men or those whom they [Kelso] shall send, yearly in perpetuity the teind of all his foals, faithfully and without retention, just as his father and brothers had given them.
