Description
Alexander de Balliol, lord of Cavers, commands Robert de Adderston, his baillie, and Walter Wallace that they give sasine to the abbot and convent of Dryburgh, publicly at Lauder, concerning half the wood of Gladswood, following what is contained in the charter of John de Wallibus (sic for Balliol) and Lady Dervorguilla, his spouse, which Alexander has given concerning those teinds. If both of them cannot be there to do this, then one of them shall nonetheless do it without delay.
