Description
William de Brus has given and granted, and by his charter established, to Ivo of Kirkpatrick that land in the feu of Pennersaughs called ‘Thorbrec’ and ‘Willambi’ and the villa of ‘Blacwde’, for his homage and service, to hold of William and his heirs in feu and heritage, saving the donation of the church; and also two ploughgates in the territory of Pennersaughs with tofts and crofts which Richard son of Aldus, Robert son of Cecilia, Adam of Willambi, Adam son of the priest, Adam, son of Astin, Jordan, Stephen, Richard son of Siric held in Pennersaughs, for the service of an eighth of a knight. If he does not have land in Annandale, he shall give him in exchange land elsewhere.
