Description
Robert de Brus, lord of Annandale, has given and granted, and by his charter established to the House and monks of Clairvaux towards the maintenance of lighting before [the altar] of Blessed Malachy, in pure and perpetual alms, all his land of ‘Osticroft’ (DMF), as Roger of Williamwood and Geoffrey Collan formerly held of him; to hold of him and his heirs without secular customs, exaction and demands, and free from multure.
