Document 4/32/71 (Pais. Reg., 173-74)

Description
[Laurence], dean of Carrick, [Richard], dean of Cunningham, and [Alan], master of schools of Ayr, papal judges-delegate, command Master Michael, dean of Lennox, by apostolic authority, to approach that land above the River Clyde which is called ‘Cultbuche’, and another land which Dufgall, son of Christian, late judex of Lennox, had from the east of the church of (Old) Kilpatrick (DNB), and by the authority of the judges, to induce possession of those lands to the abbot and convent of Paisley or their procurator, who the judges adjudge true possession of those lands, because the said Dufgall had not presented proof of right within a year, after the monks, on account of his being declared contumacious, were proclaimed in possession of the lands.
